Before I met Pirsig I was a bit worried about whether or not he ever read
our posts here and I even silently practiced an apology just in case. I was
worried about offending him with my "fiery" writing, as he so generously and
euphemistically called it. I was horrified to learn that he reads all the
posts but ten I was also greatly relieved to learn that he was not at all
offended by mine. Apparently, he's just not the kind of guy that would be
bothered by a vigorous defense or "psychotic screed", as you so ungenerously
and hyperbolically call it.

was merely expressing a wish for your sake that he doesn't read you recent
incoherent diatribe.
