I used to read every night to the whole family.  I miss it.  There is
something about reading aloud with inflections, characterization and sound
effects.  It just adds drama to the whole  literate thing.
Nowadays we're all off in our separate rooms doing the  taptaptap on
keyboards.... And it's all YOUR fault, you MOQ people, you.
