[MD] SOM?

SOM stands for "subject-object metaphysics" and refers to the basic assumptions of modern philosophies, science and common sense. Around here, SOM is contrasted with the MOQ. Pirsig's "Metaphysics of Quality" is an alternative to SOM. SOM is the problem and the MOQ is the solution.
