SOM as Pirsig's name for the ruling metaphysics before the MOQ 
days is plain. as is the fact that somists must deny any SOM, at least 
play down it's role as just a faulty intellectual pattern that may be 
scoffed at. However it's intellect itself and if the MOQ is just an IPOV 
SOM rules.    

I see Craig as some Oracle (if not exactly of Delphi inhaling fumes ;) 
"speaking words of wisdom", and when he presents his terse 
sentences everybody listen. I have for years spoken against the MOQ 
as an idea of the idea(mind)-intellect, but only after Craig chimed in did 
Ron come to his senses. Now I wait for Craig to take a pro-moq stand 
in the "MOQ an intellectual pattern vs intellect a MOQ pattern" 
controversy, maybe even DMB will come to senses.
