Greetings Joe,

It seems to me that Evolution is a concern for how things got to be the way
they are, and how they got to function the way that they do. Within MoQ
Evolution do we just change the word 'things' to the word 'patterns'?

Hi Marsha and all,

Imho the MOQ evolution ties things together in a moral hierarchy. How?
Without the former, the latter could not exist in a higher order. Existence
is the arbiter of morality. Existence is perceived as ordered and conceived
as undefined.

In SOM ordered existence is beyond the possibility of definition as Ham
intuits. There is only a real and intentional existence in SOM. For SOM
the objective force of mathematical logic trumps the subjective
(intentional) logic of declaring that a transcendental being, one, good, and
true can be distinguished in the light of mind/will metaphysics.

Imho Pirsig saw correctly that evolution is a moral order, and the basis for
law is metaphysical, not driven by which side has the most guns.
Mathematical logic denies creation in dividing by 0.

I do not see the metaphysical difference in SOM between things and patterns.
There is nothing to define a moral hierarchy, except God said! Bo pointed
out that the SOM conception of God is an abstraction from the consciousness
of a ruler at the MOQ social level. Imho the MOQ does not deny the creation
of existence only that it is undefined when it posits an order in existence,
evolution.
