[MD] Shop Class as Soulcraft

Okay, I went on to get a copy of Fish's book 'Self-Consuming Artifacts: The
Experience of Seventeenth-Century Literature' which Matt recommended.  I
guess I missed the shop talk like you'd miss talk of home economincs. Btw,
the Fish book had a great piece on Plato's Pheadrus.
