How does one differentiate between "spouting hate speech" and "circulating
ideas"? I continue to be stumped by this one. Thanks.

Hi,M K. Perhaps the key word (for me at least) is the word 'hate'.For me
hate means destroy, wanting something dead (not to be there anymore). In
this way (I know I am cutting corners here) this sort of speech seeks to put
an end to any circulation of ideas other than those acceptable by the
spouters of these speeches.And usually, as I have tried to say, these are
not speeches but one-liners.The burning of the books (e.g. the
Koran) revisited. This is what I meant.
