Nice one Matt, more Fish I see, didn't spot this in your earlier blogging.

The idea that - the experiencing self is itself the net result of its
experiences - is the "memetic model" that I hold of what we really
are, and that the net result is an ever flowing narrative - our story
so far. Fish's "self consuming artefact" looks like a good expression
of that. (Aside - behaviour of certain funghi provides a fun model of
co-creative evolution too.)

Notwithstanding that - I'd be interested in whether your statement
upfront of the "Socratic method" is what Ron had in mind for this post
? Again it's new to me and useful from my perspective.
