MP: Thanks dmb, I take that as a compliment. (And if I'd known there was a 
contest, I'd have actually made an effort to win it.)

IMO, the fact that this is a "discussion" group presupposes we all accept the 
need for consistency in the meaning of the words we use, that we make an 
effort at common understanding of the words we use, and seek to reach such 
understanding if we find we haven't got it. When I see words intentionally used 
to obfuscate meaning, it is a signal that the underlying intention is less likely 
one of fostering greater understanding than that of gaining some rhetorical 
advantage. 

And I'm *more* than happy to expose that for what it is.
