This is a scary theory.   If someone were around watching the galaxies 
form, then they would have formed differently?

Yes, but “the laws astronomers apply” don't determine what 
happens.   That’s the point of Pirsig’s platypus example: 
scientists said an egg-laying mammal was against the laws of biology, 
but platypi ignore those scientists. 
If you swing on a swing, there is a point where you will feel weightlessness & 
other points where you will not.  When Plato swang did he feel the same? 
Or was he not able to because there was no gravity then?
