I thought I'd take a happy minute to narrow Platt's latest post down to two of
his own statements (well, the second he quotes Pirsig)... Let's take a look at
them together...

[Platt says (and another thousand angels fall to the ground)]
DQ is not something experienced all the time by all humans. It's only perceived
(seen, sensed) at certain times by certain people under certain circumstances.

[Platt then quotes Pirsig in support of this]
"Dynamic Quality, the source of all things, the pre-intellectual cutting edge
of reality, always appears as 'spur of the moment.' Where else could it
appear?" (Lila, 11) .

[Arlo cries as even more angels become flightless]
In other words, just combining two of Platt's one statements...

"The source of all things, the pre-intellectual cutting edge of reality is not
something experienced all the time by all humans. It's only perceived (seen,
sensed) at certain times by certain people under certain circumstances."

How on earth can any human being not experience "the cutting edge of reality"?

So many sad angels...

Next time I'll dissect this horrific statement closer. But for now, I think
this shows the level of "thought" (pained me to type that) being offered here.
