Dan:
I see you've kind of butchered the 1) quote above which makes what you're asking ambiguous at best. If I remember correctly, Krimel said he thinks that there are relationships, processes, ect. that lay outside conceptual patterns of those relationships, processes, etc. I think it is possible, yes, but a moot point. We will never know unless we can conceptualize what is outside and then it'll no longer be outside.

That said, I think it is important to note that there is nothing you or I can talk about that is not a conceptual pattern. Even Dynamic Quality is a conceptual pattern as soon as it has a name. I think that's why zen demands we see for ourselves. We cannot be told of Dynamic Quality without losing that some "thing" that's Dynamic.

I see no contradiction.
