[Platt]
No matter how you slice it PC is censorship, an assault on free
speech, the most precious of all individual rights protected by the
U.S. Constitution

[Arlo]
So you find the PC assaults on the Dixie Chicks and Bill Maher, the
rebranding of "torture" as "interrogation techniques", the attacks on
any one who speaks against the "war" or any aspect of America as
"traitors", the attacks on people who support, in any way, Obama as
socialists or tyrants... you find these all equally immoral and condemnable?

[Platt]
To be punished for what you say, or even what you are imputed to
think, either by the force of law (hate speech) or institutional
pressure (sensitivity training) constitutes a frightening erosion of
free speech rights.

[Arlo]
Isn't that what the radical right did the Dixie Chicks and Bill Maher?

[Platt]
Far from being a sign of growth or progress, PC reverts to the
ancient practice of taboos originally enacted so as not to offend the gods.

[Arlo]
Glad to hear you reject the rabid and vile PC as manipulated by the
political right.

[Platt]
That's what makes PC a cause for concern and a reason for pushing
back--in addition to your MOQ insight..

[Arlo]
So you have no problem allowing "retards" to harassed, assaulted and
ridiculed?
