Exactly Marsha,
What I get from this statement is:
That when we focus on biological and social excellence,
intellectual excellence takes care of itself, we needn't bother
with it, It's when we begin to rationalize that we begin to fall from arete.
Very simple
and complete, it has a beauty all it's own.
This isn't anti-intellectualism, this is harmonious
alignment of high quality patterns.

While sustaining biological and social patterns
Kill all intellectual patterns.
Kill them completely
And then follow Dynamic Quality
And morality will be served.
(RMP, Chapter 32)

_____________
The self is a thought-flow of ever-changing, interrelated and interconnected, inorganic, biological, social and intellectual, static patterns of value responding to Dynamic Quality.
