Greetings All,

I did read Ant's Textbook, "An Introduction to Robert Pirsig's
Metaphysics of Quality" over the weekend, and it is excellent. I had
put off reading it because I had read his PhD thesis twice, and
didn't expect there would be much new information, but there
was... A thrill for me was a very large chapter covering the MOQ and
Eastern Philosphy: Tao and Zen Buddhism, and a section on my favorite
Eastern philosopher, Nagarjuna. Chapter Three was devoted totally to
Subject-Object Metaphysics. In Chapter Six, titled 'Quality &
Alienation', there is a very interesting section devoted to
Capitalism. If you haven't read Ant's textbook, I highly recommend
that you do. Many topics that keep MD posters spinning endlessly are
directly addressed with included RMP quotes from letters sent to
Ant. All of it very interesting!!!
