quality = Good


qualities = empirical data


Q:  Are you teaching quality to your students this year?


A:  My teaching has many qualities.


Quality as a source of everything could be Good as the source of everything
or it could be empirical data as the source of everything.


Which is it?


In this case, the right answer is definitely the good one.
