To elevate the intellect above the emotions is like saying the coach
is the team, the ski is the skier, the apple is the tree.
It's fine to have levels, but?sometimes?I think the MOQ has
got them completely backwards. ?The intellect is such a small
portion of the inorganic that it is almost insignificant.

I don't follow this Mark. The MoQ talks about different levels of
evolution. You appear to be holding a materialist perspective here.
Clearly the MoQ states that there are two more levels 'above' the
organic: the social and the intellectual.
Mark:
And, the emotions are so much more than the biological,
they are inorganic forces which create our selves.
Andre:
I do not see how emotions can create our 'selves'. The 'self' is an
intellectual construct which only makes sense from a conventional
perspective.
