Squonk to Andre:
What awareness which RMP identifies as pre-intellectual experience is
that which i am suggesting may be identicle with emotional response.
The social asigns symbols to emotions but these symbols are not
themselves emotions.
The intellect may abstract further, but I feel pretty sure i
experience emotions without the necessity of postulate their
existence.

Hi Squonk, this is fine and this may account  for Pirsig stating that
Quality is experienced differently by different people because of
their (different) life histories ( i.e their own analogies upon
analogies , etc, etc).

Also, the 'pre-intellectual experience of ZMM has been
're-constituted' in Lila as DQ/SQ and I think that Bodvar in his last
post is very helpful clarifying this once again for me: We, as humans
are all levels (SQ).

I also find his 'expression list' very useful and am quite happy to
adopt this list for future reference. (If only to dissuade
interpretations which suggest that emotions are the be all and end all
of the MoQ> We are all four levels).
