[MD] MOQ and the Future: An Inquiry into Usefulness

What Platt struggles to grasp, is that the MOQ is "AHA!"*. His view 
simply substitutes the word "Quality" for "God", but maintains pretty 
much everything about. "Quality" had this master plan, see, to make 
"humans". So Quality ordered and created and commanded and organized 
the world is precisely such as way so as to bring about "man", who 
had been ordained from inception billions upon billions of years ago 
to be "special". Indeed and moreso, all of human history has unfolded 
precisely the way it did, according to plan, so as to produce 
"Platt". His existence is part of Quality's "plan". All the choices 
of living and dying and who had sex with who and who didn't were all 
part of Quality's Master Platt Producing Plan. There is a "Reason" he 
is here, in fact his parent's had little choice in the matter, 
Quality ensured that they would do all they did in their lives so 
that Platt could come into being. There was no "chance" or "oops" or 
anything of the sort. Everything was orchestrated just so. That 
asteroid that led to the extinction of the dinosaurs, that was sent 
as part of Quality's deliberate plan to ensure the world would become 
hospitable to "man", the dinosaurs of course only existed at all for 
a short time so that their collective remains would furnish us with 
fuel. It was no "chance" encounter, it was all part of Quality's 
plan. And that's the key.

* AHA! by the way, captures the freedom (free will) of DQ at all 
levels (and throughout cosmological time) and all complexities of 
patterns, and the recognition and subsequent latching of things 
stumbled upon by patterns that are seen as "good" (SQ).
