because  of it's explanatory dimension.

Yes. Even if you want to get away from precision, at the very least 
one would have to say "Time is a pattern". Platt is attempting to 
bypass this by declaring it a "presumption" (whatever THAT means).

As a "pattern" (of any sort), "time" emerged as a response TO 
Quality. As do ALL patterns. Once again, he's trying to put the cart 
before the horse to declare some theistic-reductionistic 
reinterpretation of the MOQ.
