Hi John,
It is my view that emotions are biological in nature.
However, emotions may be mapped onto many experiences; sexual fetishism appears to result from an ill-timed and inappropriate imprinting of biological emotion to an object for example.

Relationships may illicit a variety of emotional responses: a dominating mother or father may illicit fear which may blight a lifetime for example.

In either case, the emotions are always biological responses to relationships.

I feel this should be understood because the DQU may have something very important to offer in this regard.
