[MD] What's your Quality Balance ratio?

It appears (to me) as if Todd needs an adventure, an emptying out of
old static patterns. I'd tell him he needs a vacation but the first
thing he'd do is get online and start planning it all out, right down
to the last detail. That is precisely what Tood doesn't need. Oops. I
misspelled Tood's name. But I like it. Tood is much more Dynamic,
don't you think? Todd is odd but Tood's the dude. Tood the Dynamic
Dude. Gosh. I think I'm onto something important here.
Now, where was I? Oh yes... Todd, Todd... aren't you the guy who
wanted to use the MOQ to improve your relationships in life? More
specifically, improve your relationship with your wife? Ha! Excuse my
laughter (actually it was more of a derisive snort) but how's that
going for you? Not well, I suspect.
Let me guess... when Todd gets up in the morning he knows what his day
holds. Everything is planned: when he bathes, when he shits, when he
eats, when he works, when he fucks. Once in a great while, something
will surprise Todd but he quickly puts it in its place by
intellectualizing it away. So by and large, Todd's hours are filled
with unimportant busy work that whiles away the time until it's time
to lay his head on the pillow and start it all over again. Todd's life
isn't 95% static... it's 99.99999% static. That's why Todd wonders if
there's more.
What Todd has to do is learn to say: Fuck it. It is a hard thing to
learn. Todd has had expectations placed upon him since the day he was
born, by family and friends, people who love and care for him. Those
relationships keep Todd in his place. If he suddenly does something
out of character, those familar with Todd will let him know in subtle
and not so subtle ways that he needs to conform or risk alienation
from the goup.
No one can tell Todd how to live a more Dynamic life. If they tried,
it wouldn't be Dynamic. Todd has to figure it out for himself. But he
doesn't know how. So he comes here. He goes there. He runs around in
circles, desparately seeking for something that's already his. Wake
up, Todd! Your life's a wasting...
