At least it's morning over here with a first snow dusting on the 
mountaintops. The "global warming" hits hard  ;-)

Yes, in a sense the 4th. is the individual level, very much so. Social 
moral is about the biological individual sacrificing itself for the 
common cause, while intellectual moral is that society is made for the 
individual (very simplified). When it comes to socialism .... one way 
seen it's about society - the state - dominating the individual, but it' all 
takes place on the the intellectual level, if the individual is best served 
with a strong state or with "liberty".  The  secular - political - "state" 
arose along with the intellectual level (the Greek Polis) while their 
surrounding  foes - for instance  the Persian Empire - was not a 
secular state at all, rather the ach-social configuration of despotism. 
You see how the present day "social value" defenders - the Islamists - 
first and foremost target is the  civilian, state and its institutions. Their 
ideal is the God-ruled society, no schools (except koran such), no 
health care, no nothing except for Sharia Law.
