I cannot argue against goodness as beauty (or compassion), but maybe I think
both are required.

Hi Marsha,

I agree with Pirsig who said in SODV that everyone has a different 
definition of goodness depending on her life history. So I define 
goodness like truth, choosing from the world's gallery of options simply 
to "enjoy and keep those of value." always with the lure of beauty as my 
guide.
