Ron to Andre:

...it was my way of trying to open up some dialog on the subject
of SOM?being the intellectual level and MoQ on a level beyond.
I think SOM, having competed with and replaced victorian social
patterns has become the dominant social level pattern. The problem
is social level patterns dominating intellectual level patterns. Not the
other way around.

Andre:
Looking at it in this way is very interesting Ron. You appear to be saying
that the social level has so 'absorbed' (and become a reflection/mirror of)
the SOM intellectual level that there appears almost no difference between
their separation. Both levels have become so entwined that they are feeding
on,and mutually reinforcing eachother. Hence the difficulty in extricating
oneself from this situation. To criticise it would appear to be a
contradiction of everything you see and feel around you and within you.

Ron:
MoQ promotes free thought, and for me free thought is
the intellectual level, the Q-level as Bo would say. So when Bo
posits that SOM loses it's "M" status he's really proposing that
S/O?has become a?social level pattern with the intellectual level
now being one of Quality, one of free thought. The ability to think
for yourself and come to your own conclusions based on value.

Andre:
This makes sense. The inorganic level takes millions of years to respond to
quality, the organic level hundreds of thousands, the social hundreds and
the intellectual level minutes if not seconds or even smaller units of time.
As you go 'up the ladder' the ability to respond to Quality is freer than
ever.

Thanx Ron
Andre
