Mat 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name,
there am I in the midst of them.

One of my favorite scriptures:
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away:
for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart,
I will send him unto you.

John 16:7
Why was it more expedient for the disciples to lose their authority figure
so they'd listen to the still small voice inside each of them individually?
And yet, that's what the guy said.  Sorta makes you wonder about all those
longing for him to return and make everything right, like maybe they're
barking up the wrong tree.

In Big Brother's society, there is no disharmony.  It's all regulated and
harmonious.

However you make a good point; Disharmony is an important stage, but not a
goal or end result.

As far as DMB, I was sure sorry to see him go.  Heck, I miss Krimel too, and
even Nick was interesting in many ways, provoking much debate and drawing
things out.  I hardly ever see any reason to exclude anyone, except it
grants perhaps a little more intensity to the process.

What Arlo characterized as  A "very accurate read of Pirsig" is to my
thinking, way too static.  Focusing on the wrong thing.  "Licking the
Buddha's spit", the C'han scholars of old called it.

A passage in ZAMM springs to mind, Phaedrus is explaining to someone that
every teacher has certain students they like and sorta identify with, and
usually those are the students that get the good grades,

"But all the students with whom I most identify are *failing!"*

think about it.
