not so much "how the conventional, patterned reality has evolved to
function"

western culture dominates the world, therefore western society 
dominates intellect,  in that way, you have a point, but my point
is that "dominate" means, to me, that other patterns are available
to be valued, such as MoQ..Domination, is the key term in this context.
Domination is static domination, a domination that is not open to
dynamic quality.
