Because it is "fundamentally wrong" to represent Quality aspects of
MoQ using S/O language or symbols - you simply refuse to represent
them.
A choice you make.

Fundamentally - I agree with you (always have - since before I ever
clapped eyes on you, so to speak).
Practically (in everyday life) I make a different choice.

I admire your bloody mindedness - logical perfection - but I hope you
can see that my argument against it is that it makes communication of
the (very important, fundamental) quality aspects of MoQ very
difficult - if you refuse to represent them in your language or any
symbolic image that anyone outside in the "existing" world can relate
to?

I beg to differ, you said "Each level have once been leading edge, and
in a sense can be regarded as its era's "metaphysics".
But no matter - this only ever was a linguistc / definitional /
communication problem.
As soon as we use words to talk about quality - we are fundamentally /
logically wrong - but the alternative is to whistle.
