Marsha,
Relativism means, to me, that one is operating within a self referencing
system. The question would be, metaphysically, can one get out of
this system and observe it from there? The trick is to develop such
an analysis. Since all words and concepts are within the system in
question, how is this possible? This is where paitings come in. While
they cannot logically determine what exists, they can explain it, and
prove that it does.

Ontological indeterminism:
If the basic question of ontology is 'What exists?', than isn't ontological
indeterminism's answer that 'that cannot be determined'? In Protagoras'
case based on 'perceptual relativism', and in the case of the MoQ based on
'quality/value relativism'?
