[MD] Intellectual level attacked

freedom of speech, freedom of the press." (Lila, 13)

The attack by the Obama administration on Fox News is a clear and 
ominous attack on intellectual level safeguards as portrayed in the 
MOQ.

The attack does not come as a surprise to anyone who has witnessed 
the muzzling of free speech on most college campuses with their 
decrees of politically correctness. Rather, Obama's  denunciation of 
FOX is simply an extension of the left-wing's relentless demonization of 
conservative views and the people who express them.  

It's bad enough that academia stifles free speech while at the same time 
preaching tolerance. But when the power of government is invoked to 
cut off criticism of its policies, the social level chalks up a decisive 
victory against intellect and tyrants cheer.
