[MD] Marsha's (s)OL

Hi Marsha,

I know very little.  For me the active, task oriented thought is
predominant at the expense of all else.  If I sit back and accept
thoughts as a physical process, I can sense various thoughts
at the same time, but it is not in the same way.  I can sense
the presence of both images, but need to do so out of the corner
of my eye, if you will.  Takes practice.  Focussing the attention
is so part of my existence that it is hard not to.  The reason to
go into these active daydreams is try to understand how it works for
me.  It also increases my overall awareness (I think).

Cheers,
Willblake2

Will,

But, CAN one hold the superposition of both simultaneously?

Yes,
Good analogy Marsha.  Both images exist in our minds, but
we can only hold one in our active mind.

Willblake2:
You may ask, what does this have to do with us?  By paying attention
through diligent techniques of mindfullness, I can experience the
lack of this self/other awareness throughout the day. I Believe that we
all do, but do not pay attention to it, partly because we do not remember
it, but believe we live in a constant stream of thought and self-awareness.

Marsha:
I'm glad you've mentioned this because I experience this state too. It is
like the 2faces/vase image, once you see it becomes obvious.
