I had a genius idea!  I'm going back to the beginings of this thread and
respond (correctly this time) to my own posting!

Nobody knows how to do it like the self.

Because imaginings are like hypothesi... once you start defining them, they
just go on forever, and I can't get DQ University outta my mind.

Great Quote, John, that missive of Royce sure nails it on the head eh?
 Perfect illustration of a society focused solely upon free market

And Royce was analyzing these trends back in 1870?  What a perceptive
thinker he was!

John is pretending to be an Indian.  John must like Indians.  He seems to
want to become one.  Look around, lots of white people do.

Sniff the air.

Smell that?  Do you know that smell Platt?  That is the smell of MARKET
Opportunity.   Magic, eh?

DQ University will be inclusive of all races.  It's set up to transfer,
define and transmit Native Values, using the intellectual bridge of the MoQ,
not as an exclusive Indian club, but inclusive of any who choose these
values. Those who want to pick the other side of the dynamic duo in the
Indian/Victorian culture clash. Who are tired of having Prussian Style
conformity forced upon them from cradle to grave (nice neat cemetarys tho.
 Have you seen Indian Cemetaries?  Messy, disorganized, nobody mows the lawn
.... )  The only distinction made would be Indians get in free, white people
have to pay.    That's fair because by and large, white people have the
wampum and the printing presses to make more.  And when you graduate, you
can be granted Native status.

Cuz there's two ways to be native to a place, in my thinking.  You can be
born there, or you can die there.  I think dying there makes you more of a
native, because we never choose where we're born, but we all choose where we
die.

The other part of my imagination game, is the ongoing reality of a new way
to live.  I don't know if anybody has ever been to a Burning Man event, but
I got to go once in my life, in 2007.  Talk about your dynamic art!  When I
got there, I realized the entire lake bed was a big white canvas to express
upon.  I'll tell the whole story some other time, but the gnawing question
lingered, Why do I have to go back to "real" life?  Why do I have to live
according to rules and patterns that I can't change or influence much, that
are boring, stupid and benefit very few at the expense of very many?  Why?

How.


So the DQ University would alleviate this gnawing with room for expansion -
thousands and thousands of acres of farmland, a beckoning canvass for the
seeds of true dwelling upon the land.

Each graduating student gets a diploma and an acre and a plan.  Without the
right plan, you don't graduate.  That's the incentive for getting through
the classes, and finishing school.  That's the golden carrot dangling at the
end of the teacher's shtick.  An acre and a plan.

Wise and thrifty students band together, for if 12 people pool their acres
and create a co-housing farm co-operative, they can utilize those 12 acres
much more efficiently than 12 individual econoboxes like your average
suburban gated community crap tract.

And communities form, protected from unnecessarily restrictive white laws,
governing bodies arise, compete and dissolve.  Anarchists and communists and
free market pirates all find place of expression in this world.  Let them
evolve and communicate and good will arise.

Isn't that the formula?
