Marsha,
Never apologize, never retract and never equivocate.  Get it done and let
them howl.

I read that quote from an English teacher somewhere once and it stuck with
me.  (Maybe it easy Strunk and White's Elements of Style?)

Anyway, please don't feel like shit.  If they can't take the thorns, they
don't deserve the rose.
