K: If there is no ego there is no problem, there is no conflict, there is no
time - time in the sense of becoming, not becoming, being and not being.

This re-lensing of vision ( the reflected face of understanding) brings into
sharp focus the source of the difficuly we have with perception. Because
most of our sensory apparatus is located within out heads, our heads become
the natural focus from which we see the world. Our heads become the focus of
our sense of 'self' . But it is precisely this fixation with self that
predisposes our minds to develop the sense of ego that most of us confuse
with self. And EGO  AT ITS VERY ROOT  IS UNTRUE, a deception our minds
practice upon themselves.
Here is the very nub of the problem. EGO IS A MENTAL CONSTRUCTION. And the
essence of ego is SEPARATION. You are not just a self, you are a SEPARATE
self... SELF AND EGO ARE NOT THE SAME...Self is an imaginal reality...Each
of us is a valid and significant part of creation, we are sons and daughters
of the stars, we have a right to be here...But ego is a corruption of that
sense of self, flawed fatally by its central feature, which is to see itself
as all-important, not an organic part of the world but the reason why the
world exists.
Ego is the TRUTH INVERTED. As it sees things, ego does not exist to serve
the universe; rather, the universe exists to serve ego.
