But Steve, that is what I'm saying. I do not understand what it is you are
trying to get at. I asked 'Faith in what?', but that was the wrong

Since the Lord of the Rings won't get ooohs and aaahs from everyone
and makes the whole idea sound a conversation at a Star Trek
convention to some people, can you think of any other stories or
literary examples of faith or the lack of the sort of faith that I'm
trying to get at?
