Subject: [MD] McLeod's Daughters, the series

Greetings,

This is a recommendation for a great, wholesome, award-winning television
series. I’ve watched all eight seasons and there is nothing that equals it
in quality on America’s cable or network. It’s a story of strong, wise,
quality (“real”) women, and very inspiring. It takes place in Australia
which looks to be a country of high value. It’s much, much more than a
chick flick, not intellectual or glamorous, but with lots arête. If you’re
looking for something great to give the women in you life, you might start
them off with the first season. I understand it is also available on
Netflix.

I know, this may not be the place for such a recommendation, but there is so
little of value on television for women that I just had too. When I was
growing up it was, ‘The pioneers went West, taking their wives.’ , this
point-of-view is so much better. Wholesome
