This morning my kittens are playing in the sunlight dapples on the ground,

they play

at being predator,

 at capturing prey.

you think the mouse plays at being prey?  at darting and dancing and running
and ducking?

you bet they all play.

It's all a game and death keeps score.

So Marsha, you wanna see dancing?  You should see my two cats dancing and
springing in the air.

that dance wouldn't happen if it wasn't real.  the death of the chipmunk in
the jaws of the fox are keeping the dance real.  The dance in its wholeness
is a beautiful dance.  You can't have the dance if you ain't got the moves.
