Steve:
I completely understand that all these things are related, but saying
that A relates to B is not the same as A implies B. Somewhere in here
for example we need to posit that we ought to be concerned about the
well-being of sentient beings. We are of course concerned about them,
but how does that fact lead us to conclude that we ought to be
concerned about them?
