Hi Jon with no H!

[Mary Replies] Nobody can agree on where that one came from, Jon. Here are
a few of the sources from page 1 of Google. Can you imagine any other list
where all these people would appear together? ;)
Dale Carnegie
Sir Walter Raleigh
Benjamin Franklin
The Principles of Masonic Law A Treatise

The other night Bill Moyers interviewed the two guys who wrote the book "13
Bankers" about the financial crisis. One of them said the United States is
an oligarchy, by which he meant that wealth creates power which creates
political influence which grants favors to the powerful to create more
wealth, etc. in an endless feedback loop. Of course, I had to Google
oligarchy too to be sure my memory of what it meant was correct. Well, our
friend Wiki lead me to think that a more precise term would be plutocracy.

It's important to me to get it right. During the last Presidential primary
I had a bumper sticker made up that said "Clinton for First Lady". It had a
picture of Bill on it. Now, I'm thinking of getting one that says
"Oligarchy. It's the law." But maybe it should say plutocracy instead?
What do you think?

Changing the world one bumper sticker at a time,
Mary ;)
