It doesn't work like that though does it.
What you're describing is a two input AND gate and the output will be 
true if both inputs are true.

If it is true that X > Y
and
If it is true that Y > Z
then
It is true that X > Z
else
False

Otherwise your Conclusion is not based on the Premisseseseses!
10 may be greater than 8 but this is not a conclusion based on the premisses
