Andre said to Marsha:
... I care about the MOQ and about Mr. Pirsig's accomplishments.

Marsha replied:

The known is an ever-changing, interrelated, impermanent, relative static pattern of value. I see no reason to be too concerned with something that will, even for you, be changing and is impermanent.

Pirsig says:
"Quality is indivisible, undefinable and unknowable.., but a metaphysics can be none of these things. A metaphysics must be divisible, definable and knowable, or there isn't any metaphysics."

Marsha, you are defining static patterns as if they were NOT static or patterned. Don't you see how that confuses static and dynamic?

And let me ask you about the Pirisg quotes you provided as a response to the annotations wherein Pirsig says Bo's theory undermines the MOQ. How do you figure they are relevant? Both of those quotes, in fact, describe the difference between static and dynamic, the very categories you have confused above.

Marsha said to Andre:

To you, I may seem confused. I know of no reason why that should concern me.

dmb says:

You should be concerned because if he is right, then you are confused. Who wants to be confused? If you're only saying that you don't care about Andre's opinion, then you're just rude and shame on you. But if you're saying you don't care about whether or not you're confused, then you're basically confessing that you're an unreasonable person.
