You've answered your own question--neither is an example of social, rather than biological.
Take eating: there's a right way to eat biologically (chew, don't choke; no poisons) & a right way to
eat socially (etiquette: use the proper fork).  IMHO the difference in the social, lies in recognition
that one will be held accountable for following the rules.
