Greetings Dave,

Value patterns are not a special category of things, they are all that 
we know.  They have been divided into four levels determined by 
their type - inorganic, biological, social & intellectual - and placed in 
a  evolutionary, hierarchical order starting with, I guess, the big bang.  

I'm not getting your indignation...
