Agree. There's no absolute right to religious practice any more than there's a
absolute right to free speech.

Last I checked, stoning women for adultery is not permitted in America under
the claim of "freedom of religion". We outlawed polygamy and have only recently
began considering peyote as an acceptable religious practice. As for
"cannibalism", do you think for one minute that American courts would allow
this practice in the name of "religion"? You mentioned "human sacrifice", and I
think anyone doing this would get the chair or a lifetime in jail. When was the
last time you heard of an "honor killing" being tolerated in America? Between
1904 and 1978, the Sun Dance ceremony of Native Americas was outlawed.

So I am curious, what religious practices do you think we tolerate that we
should not?
