Is there a repeating order in reality that we might use as the template for
the evolution in levels? For myself I like to use the musical octave as
such a repeating order for evolution. The color spectrum is harder for me to
conceptualize. One of the values of the octave is that the repeat has the
same relationship between the notes but at a higher or lower intensity.
When you compare values alone you have only 7 levels for initial evolution.
The levels repeat at a higher or lower intensity while keeping the same
value. Evolution may conform to the law of the Octave.

I think this is an example of creating levels on the fly. Given the number
of times you have repeated this I get the feeling it works for you and that
is all we can ask of our concepts. I have to say it doesn't really work for
me but I can't read music. I just make noise with my instrument of choice
and the only levels involved are good and bad. Judging from the reactions of
my collective audiences over the years I'm getting the impression that
others see my playing differently than I do.

Case is the bard and he, at least, "feels better" about his playing than I
do. But he's a romantic and can't read music either.
