Well, you described it as "a rock", so I can only assume it *is* a rock. 
Most rocks I've seen are made of inorganic pov. It might represent an 
idea if it's a special rock for us, and I guess it could be a concept as 
well, but I wouldn't say we hold the idea or the concept in our hands.

The *rock* is the same on both sides of the well, but perhaps not the 
idea or concept associated with it. You might know lots about that 
specific rock that I don't, or vice versa.
