Or to put it a different way, you may generate infinite numbers of source code 
programs under a given alphabet.

An alphabet starts from symbol s0 -> sN.

Assign to the symbols values 0 -> N.

The value of the source codes produced are then  0 -> (N+1)^L - 1. i.e., the 
integers sequentially.

Some of these source codes compile and some don't.

Therefore some integers compile and some don't.

What is the meaning of "to compile" ?
