I'm assuming by "Left Coast cult movement" you are referring to the
Mennonite Church? This may help clear that up:

PBS's motives were to point out a growing social problem that society has
yet to find an appropriate solution for and that at least this church was
trying to help with it. The problem being we have sex offenders which if
caught are jailed for a short period of time, given no effective treatment,
and then are turn back into society under conditions that almost assure they
will reoffend.
I don't follow your thread with Ron but do skim all threads. As I point out
to John the first thing that came to mind when I read the section with your
responses that I quoted that they in "essence" sounded like what the
pedophiles were saying about themselves. A privileging of "self" over all
others.
The post in essence points to two things:
1. You're here to get feedback on your philosophy, you got a dynamic one.
2. Dynamic responses are not always good, or right, or true.
