Well, no my point was not to equate theism and fascism. In the message you're responding to, I didn't use the term fascism. But since you mention it, I think both of them are social level, anti-intellectual, reactionary movements. Obviously, one is religious and the other is political but if we drew a simple Ven diagram they would certainly overlap.
