And the "common projects" are education, politics and law. I don't
think (and you can call me naive) that if this was just about someone
standing on the street corner espousing the divinity of the Great
Pumpkin I don't think many people would stop and demand evidence. And
if Focus on the Pumpkinpatch published a book extolling the that the
Great Pumpkin carved the earth in late October only a few hundred
years ago, I doubt many would be up in arms demanding evidence.

Nice post Arlo. I have been thinking about this 'freedom of speech' as
a hard-fought-for intellectual PoV. It seems to me ,in keeping with
the MoQ, that anyone wishing to make use of this intellectual PoV
should do so morally. To wit: not use this Intell. PoV to further,
spread or promote a social PoV.

Thus following your example, claiming the right to free speech (an
intellectual PoV) by advocating the divinity of the Great Pumpkin ( a
social PoV) is immoral.

Is this making sense or am I missing something?
